I visited Aloha Kitchen today for the first time. For my first visit I ordered the Kalbi plate with cucumber kimchi, mac salad and sticky rice. I also had the pot sticker appetizer. The serving size of the Kalbi was great, nice thick cuts of meat, charred on the edges, cooked medium well inside, and a rather large portion. They left the strips of fat on the edges of the meat which is what gives it a lot of flavor, theres nothing worse than lean kalbi. The portion and price of this item beat all of the other local Korean and Hawaiin restaurants. The cucumber kimchi was spicy and fresh, not overly caked with pepper like many places, the mac salad was good as well, but a bit plain for my taste. The meal as a whole was excellent. Service here was good as well, the entire staff was friendly and talkative, going table to table to check on customers. The menu has a nice variety of items, all priced more affordably than other restaurants. A nice mixture of cultural foods blended hawaiin style. I will definitely be visiting again to try some more items. Its a shame they are only open for lunch. If you cant make lunch they are open late on Fridays, so give this place a try. Its definitely a must try.

Our gal-pals enjoyed lunch at the Aloha Kitchen on Harry Wurzbach Rd in San Antonio. Thought small, the food is outstanding!! All six of us had different dishes and loved every one of them. Our hostess was so very nice, but I forgot to ask her name. A woman was fashioning a lovely fresh flower lei while we were there. Aloha Kitchen does events and the cater food, have hula dancers and offer fresh flower leis. So happy to find this gem of a place!

Got my order to go. Best food I've had in such a long time. Reminds me of my trip to Oahu, Hawaii and brings me so much comfort. My husband and I ordered macadamia nut crusted chicken which came with a side of macaroni salad, rice, and coconut cream corn, and kahlua pork with the same sides. We also ordered ahi tuna and two spam masubi. Best. Decision. Ever. I got it to go and waited inside while they cooked. It took awhile but definitely well worth the wait since everything was fresh and so yummy. I sat and drank a kona coffee while I waited. I couldn't pick a favorite item since they were all so phenomenal. The service was wonderful!!! Every worker is so sweet and kind and treats you with respect. They also offer military discounts which is so awesome. Would return in a heartbeat. Thank you for the comfort of Hawaii. Aloha!

Aloha Kitchen was wonderful! The family that owns it was so nice and welcoming. It was our first time having Hawaiian food and they helped explain and answer any questions we had about the menu. We even learned a little about the food and culture, which was so great! Hoping to get to San Antonio for their Aloha festival in June. I very much recommend that you try this place for their food, their friendliness and just a wonderful experience over all!

This was my first visit. I had the Spam Musubi appetizer and the Macadamia Crusted Chicken. The chicken dish took a little extra time to come out, but it was hot, delicious, and well worth the wait.

Ordered a combo plate. My two entrees were dragging meat and katsu chicken. It came with sticky rice, pasta salad and I chose kimchi as my added side. Also ordered the spam musubi as an appetizer. Everything was delicious!! I will go here again. The ladies there were so sweet and very kind. It's near a military base and lots of service people were there. It was a very comfortable place, not very big, but cozy.

Wonderful hidden gem with food packed full of flavor! Got the Seared Ahi Tuna Platter with fresh fruit, utterly perfect on the sear and you can tell everything is made fresh. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is homey.
